Coaching is different from counselling in that it is more focussed on the present and future rather than dealing with the past. It is an activity that works best with people who are in good psychological health. It can help you identify your strengths and so enable you to get the most out of life.
The three basic elements of coaching are:
- To help you discover and understand yourself
- To help you identify and clarify what you want most of all
- To help you create and develop strategies that will enable you to achieve your goals
As with counselling and supervision, coaching is confidential and non-judgemental service and tailored to your needs, and usually takes place on a monthly basis..
